Factory Warranty Authorized Service Center--TV Service and TV Repair
Because of poor support, poor service manuals, and arcane bookkeeping
methods Omega Electronics has Ceased performing warranty work for
JVC.
June, 2006: Omega Electronics ceases JVC warranty work,
leaving the Pensacola area with NO JVC TV warranty service provider.
If you are a potential JVC customer (or even considering another
brand) consider the availability (or non-Availability) of
In-Warranty service. Should your television (or other product)
fail within its warranty period, and if there is no local warranty
service provider, obtaining service may be difficult.
APRIL, 2005: OMEGA ELECTRONICS REFUSES SONY WARRANTY WORK
By mutual agreement, because Omega Electronics will no longer tolerate
Sony's conduct, or bow to Sony's pressure, Omega Electronics is No
Longer a Sony Authorized Service Center, leaving the Pensacola area
with NO Sony TV warranty service provider. If you are a
potential Sony customer (or even considering another brand) consider
the availability (or non-Availability) of In-Warranty service.

Mar 18, 2004, Decency takes a stand.
The FCC reverses it's decision on the use
of the "f-word".
Background: During the 2003 Golden Globes Awards, Bono of U2
uttered the F-word. This caused many to file complaints with the
FCC, which subsequently ruled that the word, in this instance was
good and acceptable. On Mar 18, 2004 the FCC reversed it's decision.
