Uninterruptible Power supplies

Refurbished APC supplies, inexpensive protection against power loss.  A loss of power while your HDTV is turned on can cause premature lamp burnout in case of LCD or DLP TVs, or loss of horizontal and/or vertical deflection in case of TVs that use CRTs.  Loss of deflection can cause lines to be burned into the CRTs, requiring replacement of the CRTs.  Using an uninterruptible power supply will allow you to turn the set off properly in the event of a power outage, saving hundreds of dollars in parts and labor.

Firefox
This is my favorite browser.  Firefox is a free browser by Mozilla.  Tabbed browsing provides multiple browser sessions in only one window, keeping your desktop clean.  There are plug-ins that add functionality.  My three favorite plug-ins are the Google Search bar, the Un-do Closed Tab, and the Web Developer.  Mozilla based browsers are not as susceptible to virus/hijacking/attacks as Microsoft's Explorer.

is a free program that will bounce unwanted email as undeliverable.

You can use this link to check for Microsoft Windows Updates, however it would be better to use the "tools" "windows update" on your browser bar.

A privacy anti-spy ware program.
